Meet Thomas Jones—but around here, we call him Jonesey.

Jonesey has been a police officer for 23 years, dedicating his life to serving and protecting others. But that kind of work comes with its challenges—high stress, long hours, and seeing things most people never have to. Over time, the weight added up, and at one point, he hit 350 lbs. On top of that, the mental toll of the job led him to battle PTSD, making it even harder to prioritize his own health.

Then, he made a change.

Through consistent training at OAK Strength, lifestyle adjustments, and dialing in his nutrition, Jonesey is now down over 65 lbs and, more importantly, feeling stronger, healthier, and in control of his well-being. The physical transformation is impressive, but the real win? He’s better equipped to handle the mental and emotional stress of being a first responder.

This didn’t happen overnight. It took patience, consistency, and commitment—and Jonesey continues to show up, put in the work, and get better every day.
