About Coach

Adam is a former elite-level athlete with a track record of success, including podium finishes in triathlon races and the title of USA Triathlon Regional Junior Long Course Champion. His journey from an active youth athlete to competing at the collegiate level fueled his passion for developing young athletes through strength training. While coaching youth track and field, he quickly realized that incorporating progressive strength and conditioning not only made his athletes faster and stronger but also significantly reduced injury risk, allowing them to compete at a higher level for longer.

In 2018, Adam founded Oak Performance, a premier sports performance and strength training facility dedicated to helping athletes build explosive power, resilience, and durability. Through a partnership with Sparta Science, a Silicon Valley tech leader in force plate analysis, Oak Performance has provided data-driven training solutions to optimize movement and prevent injuries. As a result, over 150 athletes have reached the collegiate level, armed with the strength and athletic foundation to sustain long-term success.

Adam and his wife, Heather, launched Oak Strength in 2012 with the mission of providing elite-level strength training for athletes and adults looking to enhance their performance, mobility, and longevity. Today, Adam continues to lead the charge in safe, science-backed training programs that develop well-rounded, durable athletes who can maximize their potential while minimizing injuries. His passion lies in helping athletes and fitness enthusiasts build a foundation for long-term success, ensuring they don’t just excel today—but stay strong, healthy, and competitive for life.
