Katlynn Wirag brings an elite blend of athletic experience, coaching expertise, and human performance knowledge to her role as Director of Sports Performance at Oak Strength.
A former NJCAA volleyball standout at Madison College, Katlynn was a 2× National Champion, National Player of the Year, First Team All-American Outside Hitter, and National Tournament MVP. Her competitive drive and leadership on the court naturally transitioned into her passion for helping athletes and adults unlock their athletic potential.
Over the past decade, Katlynn has built a diverse performance background:
3 years coaching at Anytime Fitness, helping clients improve strength, endurance, and confidence.
1 year as Studio Manager at Orangetheory Fitness, where she led high-energy group training and coached members toward their goals.
3 years as a Chiropractic Technician, giving her a deep understanding of injury prevention, movement quality, and recovery — key elements of Oak’s science-based training system.
3 years as Assistant Coach at Madison College Volleyball, where she helped guide athletes to conference and national success.
6 years coaching girls club volleyball and 6 years coaching boys club volleyball, continuing to develop young athletes into strong, explosive, and confident competitors.
Katlynn continues to compete at a high level herself, playing on a semi-pro women’s VLA team and in open-level grass tournaments across the Midwest.
At Oak Strength, Katlynn leads athlete development programs for youth, high school, and collegiate athletes — with a focus on strength, speed, and injury resilience. Her mission is simple: help every athlete move better, perform stronger, and compete with confidence — in sport and in life.
